My father [ my Daddy ] was a most honorable man - a brave man - and probably very much like anyone elses father that reads this blog. He has been dead now for many years - but he is with me everyday - regardless. He taught me many things, left me many fond and painful memories. But these three ideals he gave me were and are cemented in my very soul.
1 ) Self-Respect
2 ) Self-Pride
3 ) Self-Reliance
He would tell we kids that these words were the secrets of life - that as long as we adhered to these principles " Come what may you will always find your way ". And up until recently I never would have dared to doubt the wisdoms of these ideals.
But Daddy " What do I do now ? "
My Daddy served under Gen Patton [ Red Ball Express ] during WW11 [ a proud and difficult thing to do ] but he did not stop there, no he fought in Korea as well - I was born during his tour of duty in that conflict. He left some of his blood in the soils of both theaters, he did this for you and me, and never regretted doing so. I would be remiss here not to inform you that my mother was a Rosie Riviter in the navel shipyards in Virginia during WW11 - she was a heck of a welder !
But now I am witnessing my country being under attack by none other than her own elected officials -
It seems these officials think that this country needs a severe make-over -- that the prices paid for by those of the ' Greatest Generation ' [ to them ] were wasted effort, wasted sacifrices. And that since this countries beginnings we have been on the wrong path. That personal freedoms, personal choices, are useless concepts - that we as a people are now [ and never have been ] unable to govern ourselves.
Well Daddy - I'm glad you are not here to witness this - BUT I assure you that the battles are not over -
I followed in your footsteps during Vietnam - I enlisted while some young men ran - I dropped out of college - and yes even as I was female, as well as a single parent - Daddy you know I enlisted - because it was the right thing to do - I remember that look on your face on my graduation day - no words - none were needed -
It's not over Daddy - obama and his cronies are no where near the Honorables of your generation.
obama may have won his battle [ his election ] but the war is not over -
But I am so glad you are not here to see this mess - this damage he has inflicted upon this great nation - But rest assured - that Flag - Old Glory - the one obama is trying to stomp into the ground - Well there are troops coming around the hill - to pick her up - to watch her fly again - to make sure obama DOES not win.

Just what IS obamacare ?
obamacare IS NOT about healthcare - rather it is a direct assault on the very life of each and everyone of us - IT is about control. The control of the population, not just about every aspect of ones life - but the AMOUNT of time one has to live.
This dictate - this order is about how long one is allowed to live in this country, it has nothing to do with anything else - the wording - the claims - the pretenses of this power grab [ much like the paint on the outside of a building ] has nothing to do with what is in the actual thing, nor the reasons for the darn thing.
If one examines the basic policies of the obama regime one can clearly see the steps taken to exterminate - to wipe out - the entire American people. First we have Planned Parenthood - started by Margaret Sanger, perhaps the least known racist the world has ever seen - her goals were to exterminate any and all humans that did not meet her standards of human value. And her followers include both past figures held in high regard [ David Bernard Shaw ] and current figures held in high regard [ The Clintons - the obamas - just to name a few ].
Oh and now we are facing the beliefs of such members of the obama innercircles such as Cass Sunstein - the Emanuel brothers - the HHS policies, ALL lockstepped in the direction of DEATH. Death for unborn babies, the disabled, the elderly, ANYONE not able to aid and assist the obama regime. And as aiding and assisting any regime has a shelf life [ much like milk ] even these assisters will only be granted a reprieve for the time of their usefulness.
Yes folks the passing of obamacare IS a death sentence for each and every citizen of this country. The bitter pill has been sugar coated to cover it's intentions, and sadly the entitlement crowd is lining up to drink the kool-aid with great joy.
Meanwhile guns sales are going thru the roof, THAT assault is next on obamas list of things to exterminate - the 2nd amendment - because THAT is what is standing in his way.

Liberals will only be in control for at themost 20 years
The battle for the survival of this country is fast coming to a fevered pitch -
The obama supporters are not going to just roll over and let us rescue this country - no they have other plans
but -- there is hope
You see they are so busy being self-destructive they don't realize that they are doing we conservatives favors.
Lets look at some of their agendas
Energy - they don't believe in the use of fossil fuels - but most of them could not build a fire outside to cook on if they wanted to.
Food - they don't believe in mass production - but could not grow a tomato if they had to.
Guns - don't believe in them at all - but when because of the green movement we are all forced to live in caves - [ that's a natural - non man made dwelling place ] - how will they defend themselves ?
True core followers ? Oh wait all of their descendants are all buried in the local landfills
Whereas we conservatives - the farmers/ranchers - coal miners - cowboys/cowgirls - hunters - gun collectors - sharp shooters
Well - all we have to do is out produce them .

Liberals would be lost
The liberal mindset is not complex, nor brillant, rather it is a prime example of ignorance run amock.
For generations now the far left [ progressives ] have been slowly, but surely planting and growing their poisonous views into every layer of our society, with their targets being carefully chosen for maximum effect. They have had to take this invasion slowly as to rush it would expose it quickly as the assault on liberty that it really is. Progressives and their liberal followers mandates are really all about control, which is the exact opposite of the very foundations of a free people. Individual thoughts and beliefs are fundamental for an equal society, mistakes and corrections of those mistakes are growths and advancements of a free society, to diminish these ideals is to reduce the ability of a people to govern themselves.
Progressives see themselves as the overseers of the masses - as governors of daily life, but why ? It is all about control, it is all about power, it is all about the progressives desire to enrich themselves, they desire the ability to rule.
But rule what ? One does not have to go very deep into the progressives beginnings to get a glance into their mindset. Reading the likes of George Bernard Shaw and Margaret Sanger reveals alot about this movement - but very few followers are aware of or even care to educate themselves on these facts. For these loyal followers have so bought into the idea that the progressive way - is the way, but in truth - it is the road to ruin.
Liberals would be so lost in the world they want so desperately to enforce upon everyone else. They have been so busy creating mandates concerning things they know nothing about - so busy pushing to eliminate anything they see as obstacles in their pathways on their march to change our society - that they have overlooked their own needs to survive.
The progressive lifestyle does not allow for real world experiences, [ one can not denounce swimming - and then jump into a river ].
If these liberals that want to change and control [ though mandates ] our longstanding ways had any understandings of real life they would surely see the faults within their ideals. But they do not -
Faith - personal freedom - family - self pride - self respect - self reliance are all enemies and roadblocks for the far left.
But where does this mindset lead them ? They know nothing of these values - thus if they are successful in their conquest - just what would the existance of man be like ? Just imagine basis survival needs - things like food supplies, energy sources, shelters, all mandated out of existance.
Yes liberals would be lost, and yet the spirit of freedom can never be completely erased from mans soul, the drive has been with us since our creation.
Progressives are the ones that will lose this battle - as they have no real weapons - they can not feed themselves, produce real energy solutions, have no idea of self-protection from elements they can not control.
Our society of freedoms given to us by our forefathers [ that paid dearly for them ] will never really be destroyed.
It's just a shame that we will be forced to not only suffer with the cancer known as liberalism [ progressive thought ] we will have to feed them as well.

The Progressive Movement - our Enemy Within
We live in such an ' instant society ' - we have gotten so accustomed to getting what we want / when we want it that we no longer give a thought to the fact that nothing is free.
If this great Republic is to survive we need to recognize the real threats that she is under, both from our outside enemies, as well as from within. We can not defend ourselves from outside threats as a divided people, and we can not be a unified people if we fail to see the dangers we face from within. We have allowed ourselves to drift so far away from our founding fathers basic principles, we have lost respect for our Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. We no longer have any desire to be self-reliant, we no longer see the value of self-respect, we have lost our self-pride, and if we fail to return to these principles, and do so quickly- we will no longer be the Home of the Brave - the Home of the Free. And for me this is just not an acceptable option.
Our nation has been headed down this road of ruin for years now, but recently we have just accelerated at such great speed it is alarming.
I believe this threat from within is a carefully crafted plan to change the very existence of our nation, a plot formulated by the Progressive Movement, a plot that has slowly inched itself into the cores of our society, with well planed, well articulated precision, under the guise of ' social justice '. Which if not stopped, if the damage done by this movement is not reversed, the ultimate result will NOT be as advertised. We will find ourselves in a society divided into two separate and distinct classes, a ruling class - and an underclass, with NO chance of change.
The Progressives are ' hooking ' their followers with promises of ' free stuff ' - the nanny state - that government will / should take care of it's people from the cradle to the grave, this notion, this bait is just to lull and lure people into the traps of this movement. There is no such thing as a ' free lunch ' someone has to pay the bills at the end of the day. The payment / the cost of this ' social justice ' will be severe and change everything concerning our culture, religions, family life, we will cease being the beneficiaries of the government and find ourselves instead in the position of being her slaves.
We have found ourselves embattled in class warfare - gone from our society is the motivation of self-betterment, we have been spoon fed the idea that those that have should give to those that don't have, without earning it. The great ' work ethic ' has been all but erased from our society, it has been replaced with government assistance. Self-responsibility has been replaced with governmental entitlements.
I ask you just what are the goals of these ' Progressives ' ? Just how will the payments for all these entitlements be paid for, and who will be doing the paying ? Socialism only exists as long as it is paid for with other peoples monies. Then what happens ? Dictatorships happen -- that's what happens, Owners vs Workers that is how it ends.

Increase in Gun Sales this year
Have you given any thought to just why so many Americans are buying guns at an alarming rate ? Does this fact bother you / or does it give you a feeling of comfort ? Are you one of those that bought a weapon or ARE you one of those that wants to disarm the citizens of this country ?
This country is in the most dangerous, perilous situation ever - yes ever - not even the reasons that caused our Revolution - the birth of our country - can be compared to the problems we are facing today. The British just wanted our money - our enemies today want our very lives.
We have allowed polictical correctness to become our death sentence - we have allowed ourselves to become convinced that our own personnal pride / heritage is something to be ashamed of, and if we don't start to realize this - things are going to get alot worse.
I blame obama for alot of the problems we are having as a nation - high unemployment - inflation - just to name a couple of his imposed problems - BUT we allowed him to occupy the highest office - without us he would not be sitting pretty in that Oval Office apologizing for this the once most noble country in the world. He told us he wanted to change us - that he wanted to take this country down another path. We knew of his associations with the racist rev wright and with the terrorist bill ayers, we were aware of his own statements that during his college years he made it a point to associate with the socialists and marxists on his college campuses.He did not hide these facts, it was the people of this nation that refused to see what this was going to bring to our government / to us as a people.
I say with all honesty that I knew about this most dangerous man from the beginning - Everytime I heard him speak ALL the hairs on the back of my neck stood straight up / the red flags in my gut started blowing as if in an internal hurricane, and I told EVERYONE that would listen to me that obama was just one level above being the anti-christ, and to this day I still believe that.
So when the issue of ' gun control ' comes up it is important to note why it is so important to obama - ask yourself WHY he feels the need to disarm the citizens of this country. Oh there has always been those that just don't understand the 2nd amendment - those that don't understand gun ownership, but obamas ' need ' is quite different from that. Those that simply believe that guns cause crime ARE vastly different from those that want to make the public unable to defend itself from the powers of the government.
There is a feeling among some citizens - some are quite about it - some are loud about - that are beginning to feel a sense of impending doom, a sense of danger - a fear for the safety of family, property - for our very way of life. The Fast and Furious situation comes to mind here. The realization that our own government is / would willingly allow weapons to get into the hands of some of the most dangerous people in the world, groups that were being allowed to enter this country in frighening numbers, JUST to not only allow for the murder of the people of both South America as well as our own American citizens BUT then to want to use these murders as a ploy to disarm us - one has to ask th question WHY THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING ? The answer has to be a simple one - obama has a need to make us unable to save ourselves, he knows that push come to shove - the average American can / will only take so much.And what he has planned for us is going to be far more than just enough.
